FLASH: Back & controllable townmap...

Hi flashers,


I would really like to say that I'm new to the list, but that would not be

true, for I had been here all summer. I had problems with my phoneline, but

finally I have an ISDN so I can handle 200-300 mails a day. So I'm back,

greetings to You all, and of course I have a question.


We would like to create a site where we need a map of the town it is about.

We managed to get the map in EPS format, so we decided to do it in flash, so

we will have a perfect quality. But: The problem is that we need to tell the

map movie, which part of the map to show, by using XY coordinates. We can

make the javascript that does the job, but how can we control the movie, and

tell it which portion to show?


Any help appreciated.

Ps.: I have another thing in mind. Please tell me where can I find a

tutorial or anything on making a real slot-machine in flash. Thanx in

advance
