Yes, this is a maillist configuration thing.
Normally the mailing list software can be set up
so that you can either 'reply to all' (to list and
sender) or just 'reply' (only to sender). So usually
it's up to the list admin to decide how to configure it.
At the FlashPro list which I am running (see sig) it is
configured this way, but sometimes people complain
that they hit 'reply' by mistake (instead of 'reply to
all') and the message doesn't get through to the list...
You can't make it perfect for everyone... But IMveryHO
you're right (you might find the poster's email address
in the headers of the email though).
