Could be many things. can you put the zipped .fla on an ftp or web site for 

us to see? Or at least describe how you achieved the rollover effects.


Some possible causes:


Using a button inside a button (a definite no-no);

Multiple instances of the button on the timeline, with the later instances 

having their behavior accidentally changed to "graphic" or "movie clip."

Rollover state is achieved by tellTargeting a movie clip that is external 

to the button, but the movie clip doesn't have an instance name, or the 

instance name got lost when a keyframe was added.
