You will find corrections to the flash file format here.
This site also has a sample swf file parser that's nice. I do have a
more recent version with some changes to the one at openswf. Mostly some
code corrections to allow it to compile under cygnus with egcs 2.91.57
and some added code to identify some undocumented tags.
