Thanks for all your help... Yea each photo is about 20k. A client who thinks
that their printed brochures have to be exactly the same on the web. Anyways
I think I'll have her cut down on the number of photos and make them a
little smaller. Maybe do some preloads too. Thanks for your help though.

Hi,
Flash is doing just what it should do. Streaming means that it starts
playing at the beginning and loads as it plays. You can't go to a
frame until it is loaded. You can use a preloader so that the movie
doesn't start playing until essential elements are loaded. If you
have alot of large jpegs make each one a separate swf and use load
movie techniques, either in levels or target a movie clip if you are
using V4.
