Change character into Hex

Dear all,

   I have a text field veriable=msg, let people type anything they want.  

Then I want to get the words they type and make it as a var on the url.

    For example, they type in " How are you?" then the url should be

"http://www.aaa.com/index.swf?msg=How%20are%20you%3F"


    How can I using flash 4 to make it like this??I need to do send this url 

by  mailto: function, email the url to people.

    I know a way to do it is replace all space into %20 and so on,  I 

understand the theory, but don't know how to do it! Is there any example 

online? anyone can help me? I'm not a programmer... :(
