OT:What's up with Were-Here?

Hi folks,

I am an avid fan of were-here and have gotten awesome feedback and

information from those who post as well as sharing knowledge.


However, I see now that they are cutting the ads out. I understand why they

might want to do this as they explain on the home page,but they are now

asking for monthly donations to the site...although not required.


Hmmmmmmmm.....I see their pickle and all,but at the same time this seems

kinda....well I dunno.


I am curious to hear the consenus on this one.


Also gets me thinking.......other than ads what does a site like were-here

use for a revenue model.


Anyways......Opinions please
