VB is one of the easier languages to learn as you may have guessed, 

because it's a high-level visual language (you can drag-and-drop 

elements onto your window to create a program).  If you're using

VB to call Flash or Director executables, or using Flash or Director

EXE's to call VB applications, you shouldn't have any problems.


Actually using the Flash activex component (or director, I suppose)

in a VB app is a different matter.  It's possible, with some very cool 

results, but the licensing of the Flash player is probably too restrictive 

to be used in a commercial, widely distributed application.  It's 

unfortunate, because you can create some pretty amazing interfaces 

for your VB, Delphi, or Borland C++ Builder apps.
