Create a keyframe on your main timeline with the go to scene action
let the Button in the MC cotrol your maintimeline to jump to the keyframe
with that action

Subject: [flasher] Jumping from scene to scene
Hi,
I have two scenes (scene1 and scene2)... In scene2 there is a mc 'main
window' and in there is another mc 'menu'. With me so far?
What I want to be able to do is access a movie clip called 'main' in scene1
when a user selects an option from 'menu' in scene2...
I have had a look on the macromedia web site and it tells me to use a Tell
Target, however the tutorial assumes that your movie clips are on the main
time line where mine aren't.
Any help would be gratefully received...
BTW I am using flash 4...
Cheers
Joe
