Subject: | demo timeout |

Nevermind,
Under much pressure, I figured out how to defeat the v3's demo's protection
logic.
It's a major hassle, but doable.
So, now I'll be ok until the Flash3 box arrives. Probably Mon or Tue.
MM, I have one small suggestion:
When the demo times out, give the user an option of an extension for
several days, for situations like this. The company ordered v3, but it
hasn't arrived yet - and the demo is timed out, which puts a stop to work,
and costs me time/money.
I thought I was clever by leaving Flash running (a day prior to expiration)
and never turning off my computer...
>But if I crash, I'm SOL for the weekend.
Well, I crashed this AM. (actually it was netscape that crashed me) So I
had to resort to other measures to get Fv3 demo back up. Don't ask me, as
I'm not at liberty to tell how I did it. Instead, write MM, and ask for a
more liberal demo/extension policy.
Thx,
/w
