Yup...you're right on all counts DG. As far as that goes, there's even
still a place for the text-only site. My personal rule is never let a
user experience something you didn't predict. If a Flash technique runs
slow on a 486 and you know it does, and have decided to use it anyway,
that's fine. But if you *don't* know, and you're suprised when you see
it, and the client gets an email from an angry user that you didn't
predict, then you haven't done your job.
I think that's why it's so much fun to do a personal site...you don't
have to be so anal ;)
