I can't believe people are still gripping 'bout 486's and limited bandwidth.
flash is not geared toward this market. If you are doing client work, who's
primary target market is Joe blow mini-van and his CompUSA Compaq from 1995,
then you are using the wrong tools. go learn html and graphic design and
put together the best damn piece of "flat-ware" that you can muster.
Anything else, and you lose severe credibility with your "...but it looks
different on my screen" statements.
Flash is best for the new, neo, higher CPU and bandwidth crowd. period.
tweakers can tweak, and old skoolers can argue that "good developers"
develop for all markets and users. Well... maybe so...but what are the odds
of that broke, behind the curve computer user allowing your site to impress
him enough to purchase your business or service?
