There is a "steep" entry fee because having an awards festival does not 

run cheap. Besides having sponsers, which only pays for the festival 

itself, we must use the entry fee to pay for the workers that make 

INVISION possible. Hope that it does not deter you from entering this 

year. If you are a student or have a nonprofit project, the price 

becomes less steep- it's only $45.
