Hi all-

I have just (after much searching) figured out how to pass a tell target to
the root movie (no thanks to the macromedia documentation). (_levelx in
the tell target window, for those of you who may still be looking)

this partially solves my problem, but I am still faced with the following:

I am trying to put together a basic timeline, where each still is separated
by one of 3 animations. I currently have the animations running in level
one - the back and forth arrow call the animation on level 1, the level 1
animation works its magic, sets the level 0 to the correct frame, and then
unloads.

My problem is - do I have to have multiple animations, even though they are
the same, in order to have them point to different frames depending on
where they are referenced from, or is there some way to have only one
instance of each animation, and have the animation somehow reference the
correct still depending on where it is called from?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks,

MT
