Hi Kim,
I've dabbled SOMEWHAT with 3D applications, also in an educational forum,
but it's been awhile. Do you know, by any chance what "format" these
graphics were imported as? I wonder if they animated these 3D components in
an "animated gif" sort of way by importing like 30 frames of the 3D
rendering and then animating those in Flash? If I knew what sorts of file
formats were used here, this has inspired TONS of ideas! The matinee site
is really nice but it's a bit "flashy" for me, and the music and sound
effects are very loud and intrusive but their animation techniques are
wonderful.
