This should work, but I'd select the actual sound and have the sound action
be "stop" so that other sounds aren't affected. If you can't get this option
in the button instance window, have it turn on a one-frame movie clip
with a frame action>sound and then select the name of the sound and
"stop."

I don't think you can literally loop a sound forever. But you can put in
as many
loops as you like; I use 999. You could also put it in a movie clip, have
it do
a little fade in/fade out/stop the sound, and make the clip loop forever.

Forever is a long time. Hope it's a sweet sound loop!
