Something I tried last night.
Render the animation sequence as png files. (3D MAX - works great).
Import the first image, flash3 recognizes that fact it part of a sequence
and imports the rest, in following frames.
Then use trace bitmap on each frame.
Convert the result to a symbol.
The size isn't too bad. I guess it could be reduced with shape tweening etc.
