a beginners question.....

i'm just starting out with flash, so forgive my ignorance:


i would like to set up a template for a button that would contain two 

variables: the url of the hyperlink and the actual text being shown. how 

do i go about setting this up so that a list of variables can be read from 

a data file and substituted for these placeholders?
