text blocks input!

If I overlay plain HTML text over a flash button, the text blocks it from

detecting the mouse event. Is this unavoidable, or an I doing something

wrong?


I can't embedd the text in flash because it is a variable pulled up from a

database (unless someone can tell me how to get around that too)
