Hi Anthony,
I only use trace bitmap when I have an image that would benefit from
the transformation. Bitmaps with area of flat color can become smaller
in size and scalable. Images that are more photographic in nature are
not good candidates for trace bitmap. They can actually become larger in
byte size after tracing. I find it best to test each image on a case by
case basis.
