Subject: | FLASH: Gif's and transparency |

I am new to flash and I am having some difficulties with gif files. I am
using flash 3.0. I have imported a series of gif files that have an alpha
channel transparency. All the files cotained the same rgb background value
before they were exported. However, when I import them into flash, some of
them are transparent, some have blue backgrounds, some have pink, some with
white. I have searched and searched, but I can't find any help. There was a
tech note (ID 13524), but for some reason, I can't make any sense of it.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
christine
