FLASH: MIME again and again (was www.oeilpouroeil.fr )

If you are new to Flash (or the Flasher List) then you may not know:


1) That MIME is important to be set to prevent such problems as crashing

browsers. (Twice today for me - very unusual lately but I test a lot of

sites). 

2) That it is a setting made by the administrator of your server.

3) That just seeing a picture in Netscape is no indication of whether

the MIME is set properly for Flash orNOT.

4) That setting the MIME actually takes less than 5 minutes and needs to

be set only once for Flash.

5) That there are 2 easy ways to test for MIME.

6) That detailed information about MIME is available for users and

Webmasters at the Flash Tech Resource including how to set it on most

servers.
