Here's John C's method:

Shows a color book (pretty one coming with complete details) that you

select the color first then select the elements(s) of the image to

color.


Here's tha Basic idea:


1) Palette Buttons - The 3 squares are the palette choices and are

buttons.

2) Image Movie Clips - Each Image is a movie clip which actually

contains a series of differently colored instances of the same element.

3) Current selected Color MC - A Movie clip that contains invisible

buttons that overlay the images plus the selected color display (color

circle bottom right). There is actually a series (one for each color) of

invisible buttons and display indicators in the current color movie

clip.

The tutorial should be available soon. It is best to construct this type

of Color Book in a very exact squence otherwise it is quite difficult.
