I have found this to be the case as well. Most PC clients of mine have no
idea how to operate their systems or change any settings. It is the most
frustrating part of creating for the PC market, especially since things
look like they will print on paper on a Mac, and I could create much
finer and more balanced pages if the resolutions were the same on both
platforms.

I have a tech question for anyone who can explain it:

The Mac's screens are geared to 72 dpi, and the PC screens are 96 dpi.
You would think, since there are more dots to the inch on the PC, the
screens would actually have finer resolution and be more compressed and
the Macs would be larger.
Why is the other way around? Why does text, e.g., created on the Mac at
12 points come out as 16 or 18 point on the PC? Why do the graphics
expand a similar amount and take up more screen real estate?
