Sorry to hear that. I know these kind of jobs. Your company should hire a
good techie... they can do these kind of script stuff within seconds. I
think writing little shell scripts with a lot of regular expressions or
batch functions gives unix gurus the same kind of satisfaction that grandma
has finishing a 5000 pieces puzzle.
