Wouldn't the main benefit of SVG just be built-in browser support for
vector graphics, as opposed to the plugin/detection mess we have now
with Flash? (forgive me -- I like Flash and think it's a most wonderful
way of combining animation and programming control, but I've found
writing successful detectors to be the most difficult part of getting
Flash to work on the web) Or have I missed something basic about what
SVG is?
