BTW - not good to send attachments to the list . . . yours made it somehow,
but that practice seems to tweak the in coming mail to this list sometimes
and it causes a batch of posts to be delayed . . .

Nope, that is what is so strange. There is only one keyframe and no tweening
on that layer. That is why the MM technote seems unrelated.
When the .swf is embedded in an html file and viewed in PC IE (so far the
phenomenon occurs only in PC IE) it shifts over while the movie is idle. You
can see it just pop over. And it is not playing at the time. Weird!
