time to market, man, time to market.


I have a background in support and tech writing.

And you simply can't write good manuals/help systems

until the product is nearly ready. And all that stuff

takes a *lot* of effort.


Software dev firms don't want to hold up a release

that long. You hear all the kids on this list screaming

for flash 5? the people want it NOW.

The market doesn't care about documentation until

it's too late. *smile*
