A SWF file is definitely *not* a secure file. All you need to do is take

that SWF from your browser's cache folder and dump it into MS Word. You'll

see all sorts of jumbled - yet readable - ActionScript and text from your

movie.


A lot of people mistakenly believe that, since the SWF code is not visible

like HTML or JavaScript is, the file's contents are somehow hidden. They are

hidden to most people, but easily viewable by anyone who wants to. In

addition to viewing the SWF in a text editor, you can also get 3rd party

tools that pry open a SWF's contents to see ActionScript, links, and even to

extract sounds and images.
