erm...no ...dont have winamp ...dont want winamp. I use WPLAY PRO for
playing and recording MP3's .

Reagrding getting MP3 to wav ... I found a nice, FREE and FAST app to do it
for me ... MMwave.

Thanks for all the input ..you guys pushed me in teh right direction :o)

There are several utilities for this. Check phresh.de (resources) or
simply use the winamp wav export. Guess winamp is already on your
machine, isn't it?
