Hi Abe,

To control actions in another swf, you need to use FS Command. Colin
Moock's tutorial is quite clear:

Be aware this runs into problems with some browsers (Colin goes over this
in his tutorial). If you don't need your locator swf to actually take
commands from the nav swf, you can simplify your life by simply having the
nav bar load in separate content into your two right-hand frames using
simple GetURLs. But if you want the two movies to actually shoot commands
to each other (Goto Frame or whatever), you need FS Command.
