NO!

NO-NO-NO!

*MY* opinion sucks most.

"My name is Kenny Sherwood and MY opinion SUCKS MOST."

"Thank you for yer support."

AND: I'm willing to duel *to-the-death* with you about this matter, Steve!

Select our weapons!

>I think over all the 8 second rule is good to abide by, I dont think
>that it is scripture. BUT if people have to wait make sure that
>what they have been waiting for is worth it.

BUTBUTBUT: "They" have NO WAY of *KNOWING* whether "what they have
been waiting for" WILL or WILL NOT be "worth it".

*Please Folks*:
Give *everyone* a break.
TAKE the minimal time necessary to come up with a DECENT Preloader System!

For example, if ya have a 1-meg Flash site, try givin' us a 10K
pre-preloader (NO, don't just pump up a "Loading" message that only
insults my and everyones' intelligence) that leads into a 100K
preloader (*loaded* by now! :-) ).

I.e., ya can stack a pre-preloader in-fronta a preloader; etc.

Bottom Line IMO: PLEASE keep "me" (John Q. Public) *entertained*
during the loading process. Otherwise I'll **LEAVE** and WILL *NEVER
SEE* yer "Beautiful Creation".

Alternative END RESULT: People end up thinking/believing that Flash
*sucketh*.

Makes Sense?

To do this will NET you *SO* many more Happy Customers (those Sacred
Folks who send you those Precious Checks) that it may blow your mind.

Howzabout we all do what we can to *support* Flash bein' as
User-Friendly as it can possibly be? If for nothing else, just outta
RESPECT fer yer fellow Flashers.

*Back-offa SoapBox* but only for a nonce or so,

Kenny Sherwood
