Subject: FLASH: help-flash in director 8-is this going to be a major headache?

Hi everyone,

I have an (already completed) artwork done in flash that is going to be in a
multimedia show which will be here in honolulu (and then will travel to
korea--don't ask). the show is being put together in director 8 (by other
people--i have no involvement with that). my work was done originally for
the web, and is the only work done in flash in the show. (the rest is
static image or director movies, or video.) the piece is interactive and
has sound, though the sound, both background and on button, is event driven.
it consists of 3 swfs, two of which are loaded on top of the main movie.

I have been to the macromedia site and the doug site, and it appears this
work is going to be problematic within director. i also have read these
tips posted by rebecca lovelace in the macroemediaflash newsgroup.

my question is this: for those of you with experience with flash in
director, is this going to hamper the performance of my so much that i
would be better off rebuilding the project (with the idea that it is aimed
at being flash in director,) rather than trying to deal with the fallout of
having to keeping tweaking it to make it perfrm better in their director
movie? i know director myself, but this project is not a director project.

thanks for the help in advance.
diana
