MM Generator does all of that..

(loading gif, jpg, mp3, etc..)

as well as swf files.


The only drawback to Generator is that you need to install it on your

server, and it costs a lot of money.

I know Flash 5 is in beta right now, and that features are probably locked

down, but one feature that would be very nice for Flash is to be able to

load the various media types (GIF, JPEG, MP3, etc) using LoadMovie commands,

without having to convert the media into SWF format before hand. At a

minimum, being able to load GIFs and JPEGs as movies would be perfect.
