This "annoying/offensive" blue outline is automatically placed on images,
unless you turn it off with the border="0" tag. If you someday decide to
take a class in basic website design, you will learn all about these
mysterious HTML tags..

Some new fangled programs like Dream Weaver and Front Page 2000 allow
novices to edit the HTML tags without knowing HTML.. You will only need to
right click on an image and click on check boxes to remove the
"annoying/offensive" blue outline.

here is how your code should look...

Hi list

Apologies. Very off topic this one:

Anyone know how to disable IE 5's annoying/offensive preset
of putting a blue box around every clicked on link, graphic or text.

It ruins the look of websites and is pointless.

I tried contacting Microsoft UK and was told to contact the company
that supplied the software. As i got it free off a magazine, I asked if they
expected me to ask a publishing house how to use IE 5. They replied "yes"

I then asked him if he knew how to change this setting. Again they replied
"yes" but said they wouldn't tell unless I paid for support.

Bill Gates is an *ss hole. IE is sh*t.
