Subject: FLASH: [OT] Swift 3D
From: James Goudy

I just bought Swift 3D and love it. I'm having a blast figuring out how to make it work, although I still have a bit to figure out because rendering even 20 frames of a single word takes upwards of 3 hours! Am I doing something wrong or could I streamline somehow? I'm only using area shading...

I've already got cravings for future versions:

1. shadow casting!
2. ability to "easily" animate along a curve
3. clearer zoom in/out controls and object scaling controls/settings.
4. and of course, faster rendering, faster faster! This program's got me seriously shopping for a dual P3 650. And a half a gig of RAM. Heehee well maybe I was just looking for an excuse.

Overall, though, I'm jazzed that tools like this are starting to emerge in force. Keep em coming!

Here's my latest project, if anyone's interested. Feedback welcome. www.fullmarketmedia.com
