Yes, this is the worst point of Swift: the rendering time.
Try to keep your forms as simple as possible...you will see when you will start to render robots or people...you better go for a drink, a very long one!

The other option i am using sometimes is 3DStudio Max & Illustrate, the rendering is faster.
