| Your problem is two fold. I believe, and I don't know for sure because you
| haven't put it up to look at, but you probably don't have, and definitely
do
| need a preloading page.

Another problem is that the client wants this stuff on each page of his web
site. It wouldn't be fuctional to have a preloader page for every web page.

| would recommend putting the sound and the video on different movies. If
you
| build the preloader correctly, it will load both the video and the sound
| before it starts playing.

I have seperated them into 2 different movies. The music Flash files can be
over 700k each, so waiting for those to load completely between each page
would be undesirable, as well. I was under the impression that Flash would
stream this kind of stuff so that it would begin playing before the whole
thing was completely downloaded. Then again, like I said, Flash is *far*
from my thing, so I'm not really sure.

Maybe it would help if I showed you what I was trying to do, as you sortof
suggested.

I guess what I'm getting at is, is there any way to get this crazy setup to
run over a 56k modem with any decent speed and without having any preload
pages?

Todd
