Hey, thanks John. I feel more comfortable about this now knowing that you've
been through the wringer already. I didn't go through the Director Dismay so
Adobe's foray was my first horror story.

Thanks for addressing the daily finger gesturing. My workday is much more
efficient AND effective because of them. ;> But I did revisit FH when 8 was
released, having run from Aldus product years ago, and I did appreciate the
customized keyboard set. If you say that others will follow suit (as I
noticed F5 is doing) then I'll be happy.

If F5 is going to have the largest makeover out of the three, then that's
great. The change from 3 to 4 wasn't huge, but I don't think I'll mind
reworking efficiency standards for what I've seen about 5. Actually, the
thing that made me the most giggly was the ability to turn plain text into
web links. That alone is worth an upgrade for me. I got sick of making
symbols just for text.

I'll throw the beta thing a line after I change jobs next week--if anything
I can do that will prevent production fiascoes like Illustrator 7.0 then I
can sleep well, sniff sniff. Thanks for the offer.
