There's quite a bit more to the QT plugin than the Flash one.

If the Flash plugin were to play QT movies, it would have to

be 7mb fatter (the quicktime plugin is 6.5mb with an additional

500kb installer).


A 7mb download for the Flash plugin would no doubt cause it's

browser penetration percentage to drop off the charts...
