Subject: FLASH: Flash 5 Trig output?s {Branden/Matt}

This is a repost, cause in the midst of FF2k, and all the email on this
list, I think it got lost:

>The trig functions that are included are all of your basic trig funcions,
>including inverse trig and *YEAH* arctan.
>
>- -= Branden J. Hall

Okay... Matt gave the example of dynamic drawing of a line between two
points [I understood that one], but I need more concrete items so I know
what you are telling me above:

Say for example, the famous rotating balls that get larger as they
approach you and smaller as they recede as they circle a fixed point. As
I looked at the code for things like that, I was hopelessly lost. Not
only do I need to have the basic trig functions, I need to know how to
apply them and what they do.

What are these functions your telling me about above?

What I'm trying to figure out is if I need to get a book on the basic
math functions and examples to use the old and new features in Flash 5...

and/or... will the new manual cover that?

Thanks
Jeff
