I'm very interested in developing for this environment. I've seen a
few 3D shockwave games like snooker already - how are these made?

Referring to John Dowdell's comments below, is Director lingo used
to build these "3D" scripts?


"Caveat: This first version of realtime 3D in Shockwave is *very*
script-intensive... there's not yet a GUI approach to it, you'd
absolutely
need to know the theory in order to script it. Future versions
should
change this, but right now you'd need to be very comfortable
scripting to
control the view into the scene, the objects in the scene, and the
rendering of this data."
