Like the first time, the site worked fine for me... p3 700, 256mb ram,
win98, ie5.5, t1.
Comments:
As is previously, and with some other people, we DON'T like sites that take
over our monitor, at least you have an exit option (at the door), but it's
not obvious. But we still don't like it, with or without exits. If it's
going to be on a CD, then it's normal to take over the monitor (almost all
does anyway), but with the internet, we like to keep the options open...
meaning we can leave whenever we want, do other stuff (eg: wordprocessing,
browsing other sites), etc.
The options are already selectable (mouseovers) even before the door opens
letting in the light onto the options on the floor. How about making a
graphic first and only put in the buttons after the door has opened.
Another thing is with the multiple pop-up browser windows. Pop-ups are ok,
once, but not with every menu selection. Imagine if I'm using 1600x1200, the
pop-up will take up about 15% of the monitor and the blue will start to get
irritating. :) Another point to consider is that people with slower machines
and less memory and even older browsers... opening multiple browsers will
really slow things down and in some cases crash them.
But other than that, it's a pretty clean site... especially like the little
loading graphics on each ...err...browser window. ;)
And to Paul, simply press Alt-F4 to close. :-) (Doesn't work for a MAC, btw)
