it's very annoying, honestly, if I don't absolutely need to get information

from a site that does that, I usually close the window as soon as it opens

up and never go back.


Also, I have a 19" monitor with the resolution set to 1600 x 1200 so not

only is it bothersome to have the window open up really big the site usually

looks pretty bad because the graphics are tiny in the middle of a sea of

nothingness.  For a presentation I can understand it, but for a web site

there is almost no reason to take over the entire screen.


just my opinion.
