FLASH: Sparkles that Trace

Hi, I am new at Flash, and I'm sure that I'm getting over my head, but I

have seen the flash that make sparkles follow the mouse cursor, and my

question is this....Can I make the sparkles move on their own in a

predefined course, eg. tracing a word? Any help would be greatly

appreciated!!
