Maybe the next thing on his list is to turn TV into a text only medium...
point being... is some people want to be ENTERTAINED.....
agreed that over use of flash in some ways is too much.
If you look at most design companies web sites.....
their own site is pretty "flashy" to showcase their ability... but if you
look at their client portfolio..... many of the sites are toned down
dramatically - because that is what the client needed. A ton of flash was
not good for THEM. It all depends on the sites reason for existence. And if
the designer did his job well... it will reflect that - unless the client
has his own agenda ;-) .
