I used to get this problem all the time... if its the same probem its not

the mac itself its the settings in Photoshop... and the same mistake can be

made on the PC in Photoshop too...


My problems came from the thumbnail that photoshop is set to add in the file

header by default... just tell the person to go into the prefrences and

switch it off... or use photoshop yourself and load and save it without the

thumbnail.


I hope this is your solution.
