Subject: | FLASH: Relative URLs |

Can anyone tell me if I can use "../" to call a .swf
if I have the Base attribute set in the object and imbed tags?
I know there are issues with Mac and relative URLs...
On my project I have a "heavy" and a "light" version.
The only major difference is one swf that is peretty large (100k) so I have
an alternate swf for the light version.
In my thinking, I should be able to have everything in the "heavy" folder.
Then have a "light" folder with just the modified "index.swf" and the one
other "light" version swf.
Then I set the Base to "htt*://blahblah/heavy" on both pages(light and
heavy) and just call the particular swf that I need with ../light/light.swf
I'm assuming all ..swf would be called from the base (heavy) accept where I
specify ../light
Does this sound right? Is there an easier way to accomplish this?
I was thinking if I could pass a variable to the movie on launch.
set variable "light" = "1"
and then use an if / else statement to call the light swf instead of the
heavy I could do away with the alternate "index.swf".
But I have no idea how to do this..... any suggestions?
Thanks
