Subject: | FLASH: Flash on a CD |

Hoping more more help on this subject - thanks in advance... My original
question was...
<When I published the movies, I created "Projectors" for each, hoping to
be able to leave the projector for the first movie in the sequence
outside
of a folder containing the other projectors so that it would be easy for
a
viewer to know which icon to select in order to start the presentation.
However, when I moved the projector outside of the original folder, it
merely looped with itself rather than going to "get movie" number two.
Is
there a workaround to use so that I can have the first movie projector
go
get and play the second movie even if I have it sitting visible outside
of
the folder containing the rest of the movies?>
The answer that I received was...
<You should probobly look into creating an "autorun" for your CD so that
the
user does not have to choose anything.... they insert the CD, and it
will
automatically start... Secondly, there is no need to create a bunch of
different .exe files for your presentation, simply creat one that all
your
other movies are loaded into. Also, to fix the "out of folder" question,
Instead of your "LoadMovie" command calling a filename such as
"movie1.swf",
it will need to be given a path to follow, such as "file1/movie1.swf"...
you
may have to put a "/" or a "../" in front of the "file1"... im not sure,
but
try it out.>
Thanks to John Ward - can anyone tell me how to do this i.e. create one
.exe file that all other movies are loaded into?
Also... to john...<I am working on a Presentation that (when finished)
should have a combined
file size of around 400MB.... I was able to make it so that at any one
time,
there was only 6MB's of information loaded at any one time.>
How do you do this?
Thanks...
