Hi David,
There are several ways to do this. I made a CD that has one exe file
which is a short introduction with some snappy music and starts up
with autorun. The last frame of this intro has a load movie action
which loads the main navigation swf into level 0 replacing the intro.
This main swf has about 12 buttons each loading a different swf, again
into level 0. All of these separate swf's have a link to load the
main navigation swf back into level 0. I have done it with buttons,
allowing the viewer to choose what to load, but you can also load the
movies with a frame actions, so that when one movie is finished
another loads.
I think that if the exe is over 1 or 2 mb you may have problems. MM
technotes has something on file sizes, sorry I don't have the link,
which I think also states that you need to keep all of the swf's in
the range of under 2 or 4 mbs. You may have trouble with each being
400 mb. Evidently, large files are better handled with Director.

The way I set it up the viewer never has to go back to the intro.
